Iphone 7 + IOS10 + Vivoactive HR not pairing

First of all, sorry for my bad english

Yesterday, I receive an iphone 7. After inititialize (from the backup of my previous one) the iphone, I download Garmin Connect on the apple store

I was able to pair and sync my Edge 810 and 920XT

The problem is that I was not able to pair my Vivoactive HR by doing exactly the same procedure than my Edge 810 and my 920XT

The system found my Vivoactive HR, the pairing number appear on the screen of the watch, I put it on Garmin Connect App and after iI receive and error message. It's something like : (sorry the message is in french, I try to translate"
"Fail to pairing
Impossible to pair you Garmin Device
Error device connexion"

I try many things:
-Reinit the watch
-delete install the Garmin connect app
-remove from the bluetooth device
-...

Someone can help me?

  • If the pairing process is similar to the 920 then you need to remove it from GCM first, then from iOS bluetooth. Removing it from iOS bluetooth before removing it from GCM might cause problems.
    Then, before re-pairing, power-cycle both devices - might even be worth re-booting the iPhone by pressing and holding the Home and Power buttons together until the Apple logo starts., .Start the pairing from the GCM app, pair with the watch. I think you already know that you pair with the app, not with the phone.
