LiveTrack Issues

Since the latest Garmin Connect update on iOS, LiveTrack is now just about completely useless.

The beginning of the ride shows up and that's it.

Since this problem, I have:

1) Uninstalled Garmin Connect and re-installed it
2) Unpaired / Paired Edge 1000 to iPhone
3) Factory Reset on Edge 1000

Many people with Edge 1000s have the same problem. See Edge 1000 Forum (https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?354317-LiveTrack-Issues)

All components are on latest software/firmware.

Also, at the end of the ride, the autosync feature no longer works. In fact, stopping the iOS app and/or restarting the Edge 1000 fails to make it sync. I must power down the iPhone, restart it, then restart the Edge 1000 and Garmin Connect and I will get it to sync.

Furthermore, *IF* the iPhone goes through an area where there is no cell service, the iOS app never reconnects to the Garmin servers and the ride dies there...

Here we go again...

Everything has been working fine until I downloaded the latest update 3.11.1.26 and now I am not getting text messages or heart rate info on my Edge 520 or the upload to RideGPS online log.
Anyone else having issues?

Why has the Live Track line been changed from blue to red?

The Garmin connect app does not even try to open up facebook or Twitter to get permission to do stuff. As it tells me"Connect does not have access to your facebook account. In order to share via facebook access must be granted in your iOS facebook preferences."but having tried through all of my settings, and there is nothing there that has the potential to it.
Twitter says somethNG on the same lines i.e., "Authentication failed. Please update your Twitter contacts. This can be done in settings."
