My Phone is OnePlus , Android 4.4 - I experience the same issues described on this thread, I can pair on Bluetooth but no file is retrieved from the phone using Garmin Connect Mobile.
On Win7, the desktop application Basecamp retrieve GPS traks without any problem.
Garmin: on a side note, this app Garmin Connect Mobile is atrociously bad.
I have a F5 and i have had nothing but trouble syncing on any mobile platform with Garmin Connect. I have tried ios, android and windows and i either have a failed sync or a sync success but with no activities or steps. I have repaired several times power cycled and every step the cut and paste solution from Garmin suggests. I have even tried my older Garmin vivofit device on all platforms and i have not ever successfully synced. In fact repairing fails 3 out of 4 times on either device or mobile platform.
Garmin express via USB works perfectly, but any Bluetooth connection is simply ridiculously bad. Reading several of these posts it seems its an old issue , a very old one that has not been addressed by Garmin at all. There are even people who.have gotten new devices as Garmin suggested it was not an issue with the app.
It is entirely an issue with the App, but it appears Garmin don't care at all or refuse to accept responsibility. Until then i will use express when i cam via USB, abd hope my watch memory doesn't over load as i don't have access always to a usb connection.
Garmin should actually read these forums and take more time to address such glaring issues. I for onw will not consider purchasing any further Garmin devices until the company act more professionally and for the customer.
