Hello,
I have been experiencing persistent Bluetooth connection issues between my Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire and my smartphone for several months.
Phone: Crosscall Stellar X5s
Operating system: Android 15
Current Crosscall firmware: N2074V.6.05.13.FR00
Watch: Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire
The watch systematically loses its connection to the phone. The connection is only restored after reopening Garmin Connect and pairing/reconnecting the watch.
This issue only started after an Android update. I had therefore been hoping that a subsequent Android update would resolve it. Crosscall deployed a new firmware update today (N2074V.6.05.13.FR00), but unfortunately the problem persists.
The issue appears to be specifically related to Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) management, as standard Bluetooth connections work normally with my wireless earbuds.
I have also checked that Garmin Connect is allowed to run in the background.
Are you aware of this issue with Android 15 and the Fenix 6 series? Is there a known workaround or a fix planned for Garmin Connect?
Best regards,
Simon CARBASSE
