It does not seem to be a common case with Connect on Android phones. If you use an iPhone, please post on the iOS subforum. This one is for Android only.

Ah, OK. I was wondering why your device needed the phone to provide GPS tracking.
If I simulate a permission notification (by removing the permissions), and tap & hold on that notification, I get the following screen:
And when opening the Notification settings of Connect, I can scroll down, and disable the "Access Required" notifications at the bottom, so perhaps it is also worth of trying:
Could be that my phone (A54) uses One UI rather than the stock Android OS, which might explain some of the inconsistencies.
The offending notification is definitely coming from the Connect app on my end, but I dug around to find Permission controller and can't entirely disable these notifications as it the option is greyed out (looks like it is in your screenshot also).
Access Required looks promising but my Connect settings also look entirely different to your screenshot.
Push notifications are all grouped to a single page and are mostly just junk notifications for social actions:

At this point, I've just disabled notification permissions as the annoyance of 10 unwanted notifications a day outweighs the usefulness of 'your sleep score is ready' and 'time for bed' lol. I got the CIRQA as I wanted insights without another screen in my face, so in my case this might be an acceptable solution, but still annoying for others who might want more control over their device or be heavier users.
