Menu » Health Stats » Lifestyle logging » Enable Auto-Logging (if not discarded yet from the top of the screen)
or
Menu » Health Stats » Lifestyle logging » triple dot menu » Settings…
First of all, when the auto-logging is not enabled, the option appears at the top of the Lifestyle Logging screen. If not, then it is under Settings (2nd item in the tripledot menu)

OK, sorry for trying to help without knowing what you already tried and what not. You indeed better stay off the forum, if innocent troubleshooting hints injure your ego.
I agree.
For my part, I'm glad you tried to help us find the problem, and a number of things are clearer now.
trux What version of Garmin Connect Mobile do you have? For me, 5.19.2 is the latest and I don't find the options you've shown in the screenshots. I'm just wondering if there's a new version that's being rolled out slowly...
I tested it now on three different Android phones, each on a different GC account, all of them with v5.19.2, and all of them with their own Instinct 3 watch. The auto-logging option is available on two of them, while not on the third one.
The common denominators for the phones with the auto-logging available are as follows:
The account with no auto-logging differs in this way:
I tried to change the system language to French on my own Android phone, but even after the change, the auto-logging is still available. So the non-English language does not seem to be the reason, as I suspected for a while. However, if your GC is not in English, you can try temporarily switching to English, reboot the phone, (perhaps even reinstall Connect) and see whether it helps, anyway. If so, then hopefully the option remains enabled even if you switch back to your original language.
In my Lifestyle logging three-dot menu I only have entries "Help", "Edit behaviours", and "Reminders" (or actually Finnish equivalents), just like another screenshot posted on this thread. And I'm wearing my watch 24/7, use HRM Pro+, do activities daily, and have full HRV, Stress, and Sleep data. But my watch is Forerunner 965, that's different from yours and could explain (at least partly?) the difference.
(Oh, and I have the various activity-related entries selected in the behaviours.)

The watch model does not seem to matter - in the three cases I verified, all three used Instinct 3, and despite that, one of the accounts did not have the auto-logging option. My first suspicion was the non-English version, and although I could not confirm it, I still suggest trying to change the language to US English, reboot the phone, reinstall the app, and checking again.

I tried, UK English, reboot, US English, reboot, but without success... (and my usual system language is french !)
For me, the problem is solved: last night the 5.20 update was installed and the automatic logging option immediately appeared...

Same for me, it's of course also possible that they had a gradual deployment of the feature, since for some it seemed to work already on the previous version.
