Garmin Connect not working properly on Fairphone 6 with e/OS

Hi,

I already installed and reinstalled Garmin Connect multiple times. I can login, though thereafter the app gets stuck in the initial loading screen (with that little stick figure running). When closing the app and restarting, it gets stuck in the loading screen saying "connect powered by Garmin". I left the phone running for 10+ minutes, without any changes.

Did anybody else experience something similiar? Is there a way to fix that? Is my OS being e/OS the problem?

    It's the same with me. It started today. The app gets stuck on the welcome screen and cannot be used at all. I'm on a Motorola X4 running LineageOS 22.2 with MicroG.

    Garmin Connect used to work without major problems for years on my phone and I haven't changed anything.

    I have exactly the same on a Fairphone 4 with e/OS. I just saw a reply on a reddit post that someone with a Pixel with Android had the same issue as well. Lets hope its a 'general issue' and Garmin will come up with a fix.

    Same here with Fairphone 3 and e/OS. Never had problems but since yesterday, I'm stuck at the initial screen

    I have a fairphone 6 with e/OS and mine's not working either since this morning. I reinstalled it and the app let me sign in, but got stuck again immediately after. Guess I'll be using the website until it's fixed.

    I have a Fairphone 6 with e/OS as well and am experiencing the same thing. After reinstalling Garmin Connect it looked like it was working fine for a second until I logged in and it immediately became stuck again. I tried just about every fix I could find (reinstalling, rebooting, turning off bluetooth and internet connections, turning off my VPN, etc.), but nothing has worked so far.

    Guess I'll be using the website until this is fixed.

    Same issue with FP4 and /e/ os since updating to vers 5.17.1

    Same Problem with /e/ on a Pixel 7.

    Downgrade to 5.16.2 (10077) with Aurora fixed it temporary

    Thank you for providing the vers number. Downloaded it, temporarily working again now :)

    Basically, if you open a gpx file with Garmin Connect, it will work.

    Same issue on my Brax3 (deGoogled phone). 5.17.1 will not load the user interface. I found 5.17 on APKMirror. That version works. It has a minor glitch where the activities route on the map is a solid black line instead of the colors showing different levels for whatever you select (heart rate, pace, etc...)

    I have the 5.16.2 install package. I might put that on later.

    Blacklisted Garmin Connect in Aurora so I don't accidently install an update.
