I set a new personal record for the half marathon distance at the weekend. The distance I ran was recorded as 13.23 mi which was slightly over the 13.1 mi distance for a half marathon. The total time was 2:07:47 which was about 10 minutes faster than my previous record.
However when I went to accept the new personal record I saw it had recorded the half marathon time as 2:07:47 - the exact same time as the total run length. After checking my run on Strava where I sync it to they had recorded the 1/2M time as 2:06:27.
I know that previously Garmin has computed a record for a distance shorter than the total run so I'm wondering if this is a new bug or there is some reason it didn't do it right this time?
And yes I'm aware I can go in an just edit the amount but the thing is I don't want to have to rely on a 3rd party to do this and edit values from Garmin, I want Garmin to get it right first time.
I'm guessing this is a Garmin Connect issue and not related to my specific watch type - a Forerunner 255.
