notifications after activity upload

Check the app notifications settings.

From the Garmin Connect app - More > Settings > Notifications > App Notifications > Connect > toggle on

Or from Android - Settings > Notifications > Connect > Toggle on Show notifications

Thanks for your help.  App Notifications were on, but it looks like activy uploads are under push notifications and these were off. if it still does not work, I will post again.

I am still not getting any activity upload notifications after turning on push notifications.

Same here... neither wife (Fenix 7s, Fw 16.22, Xiaomi 11 Lite NE, Android 14, GCM 5.5) nor me (Fenix 7x, FW 18.16, Pixel 7a, Android 14, GCM 5.5) receiving the notification that our workouts were uploaded through the Garmin Connect Mobile app. In both cases permissions  and notification options are set correctly on devices as we were receiving notification.

GCM 5.6 Released today seems to have fixed it 

EDIT... I may have jumped the gun a bit. Yes the activity upload notifications are coming through but I'm only getting them pushed through when my phone is unlocked unlike before when they would come though whatever state the phone was in.

Updated to GCM 5.6 then removed my F7x ss from my account and added it again. Went out for a run and 30' after saved the workout got the notification on my Pixel 7a that my workout is ready to be reviewed. This is far away from the max 2' that took me to receive the notification earlier.

Perhaps your phone has aggressive battery management (such as Miui/Hyper Os). I would check if the app is allowed to run in the background.

Glad you got them working. GCM on my Samsung is excluded from any power saving. It is allowed to run in the background with no restrictions & notifications are set to show on the lock screen with content, These settings haven't been changed from when the notifications were working previously. So I as far as I can see there isn't any reason why the notifications don't come come through. It isn't just my Fenix 6 that isn't getting them but also my Edge 1030 too so whatever is preventing them coming through is happening across the board & not just one device. I don't really want to go through the faff of removing & adding all my devices again but it may be the only option if it doesn't sort itself out
