Garmin Connect not retrieving courses from Drive.

Hi everyone.

When trying to save an Ordnance Survey route from Drive into Garmin Connect, I now get the message "Course not available, we're having trouble retrieving a course".

This has just started happening on my Lenovo M11, android 14. It's been fine up until now.It also now happens on both of my android 14 Pixel phones.

I did recently change a few of my 'security & privacy' settings on my Lenovo.

Any help will be massively appreciated. Thanks.

  • I've just completed an import of an OSMaps Gpx into connect via the browser on Windows.  This works fine, with the course available on my Fenix 7 after a sync.   Looks like the issue might just be with their Android App.  You should give it a go though just to verify.

  • Hi, I'm having the same problem. Today I noticed an update in Google play store for the garmin connect app, which I've installed, but it hasn't fixed the issue. I've also restarted my Samsung s9 phone after installing update but still not working. Ive not changed any settings recently. Its just randomly stopped saving my Google drive courses which have been created from OS Maps.

    I tried the chat function with garmin support but its not available.

    Has anyone found a fix yet for the issue?
