Can anyone explain why Garmin makes it so difficult to view active calories? I like to track it as a measure of overall activity. Yet I can't put it on my In Focus or view it on my watch. WTF. Is this to try to get me to use and link My Fitness Pal?

Yeah my point is this is easily in the top 3 metrics I want to see and I don't understand why it's so many steps to get to. Before this recent update it was visible on the home screen.
The FAQ page for the new connect app homescreen shows a screenshot of calories burned in the glances section.
There appears to be no way to do this under the Edit and Add options.
Oof that is bananas... I don't use MyFitnessPal and have no desire to, and am annoyed that Garmin seems to prioritize a full calories in/out metric using MFP OVER simply showing me my daily active calories. Interesting you found a workaround but I'm not sure I'm willing to sign up for MFP just to see if that works for me too...
