The app and the website use the same servers. So as long as you're logged in to the app with the same Garmin account used to log in to the Garmin Connect Web site, you'll see the same data.
I understand that I am supposed to see the same data, however it is not showing the new watch I got. It is syncing perfectly with the app, but not showing up on the website
Sorry, to be clear, are you referring to the device list on Garmin Connect Web?
In that case, I'd make sure you're logged in using the same Garmin credentials used to login to the app.
On Gamin Connect Web go to Account Information - https://connect.garmin.com/modern/settings/accountInformation
Take note of the email address being used.
Go to the app, Settings, Device Sync Audit. Make sure it matches.
