I bought a new Epix Pro 51mm Sapphire edition from Garmin, set it up, but it keeps losing connection to my phone. I've tried everything: whitelisting the Garmin Connect app, turning off battery saver in the phone and for this particular app, keeping Bluetooth on constantly, allowing the app to run in the background, and ensuring both the app and my phone are updated. Still, the watch disconnects. It stays connected for a bit, but then I notice the weather isn't updating, and the watch disconnects from the phone. I keep seeing the "waiting for phone" message. The watch will Sync and the app will update itself only when I open the app on the phone and click on sync. Deleted and reinstalled the connect app. Phone is an android.
