Garmin Connect App on Android won't stay open

Hello - I saw this question posted a few years ago, with no solution other than call Garmin, but thought ask try again, since support is closed today. I woke up this morning, and my Garmin Connect app on my Google Pixel will not stay open. Android version is 14.  9 hours ago, there was no problem. Since then, the time updated  automatically to account for DST.I have cleared the cache, stopped the app, restarted my phone, uninstalled the app, restarted the phone....it still won't stay open. No surprise - it also isn' t syncing to my watch. Since I also have a Google Chromebook, there will be no syncing until the problem with the app on my phone is resolved. Any other ideas of how to fix this would be appreciated.

    same here. pixel 7, all updates, beta test activated. failed this morning. deleted and reinstall didn't help.

    I've also been using Beta for a couple of weeks, but lately my Bluetooth connection has been constantly disappearing, the Synchronization NEVER completes. I have downgraded the App Connect to version 4.74.1 but IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL on the website it always includes you in BETA and it is a pain to use, CONTINUOUSLY DISAPPOINTED WITH GARMIN

    Yeah I can't open the app as of very late March 9th and today March 10th 2024. Tried same thing clear cache, clear data, restart phone, uninstall and reinstall Connect. Nothing works. The app opens and then basically crashes. Same behavior on my Samsung S21 and my old S9. Obviously can't connect to the watch or sync activities either. Using an Instinct Solar. It worked fine for 2 months and now basically dead app. I've also been using the beta home screen for about 3 weeks, but with no problem until now. I live in Pacific time zone if the USA and yes last night time changed to daylight savings, PDT.

    App crashed yesterday evening. Have tried turning phone off, restarting, uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing working. Washington State

    Thanks for clarification. I disabled beta on the Web and was still getting cranes but after clearing app data and logging in again it's working without the beta and appears to sync and not crash.

    Same problems as everyone else. App continually crashing since March 9th at around 6pm PST. Using the app on a Pixel 8 and also using Beta mode.

    I disabled beta by going to the Web version in my browser on my phone. I went to user settings and was able to opt out of the beta program. Opening the app again it's kept crashing but then i cleared the app data and when it reopened i logged in and it started working.

    I found this idea in another thread. Yay! Thanks!

    Note that the beta program was working fine for me before and i tried clearing data and uninstall reinstall before dissabling beta and none of that worked.

    Great minds. Just did the same thing and now the app works.

    It started working again for me just now (7am PDT)
