Garmin Connect App on Android won't stay open

Hello - I saw this question posted a few years ago, with no solution other than call Garmin, but thought ask try again, since support is closed today. I woke up this morning, and my Garmin Connect app on my Google Pixel will not stay open. Android version is 14. 9 hours ago, there was no problem. Since then, the time updated automatically to account for DST.I have cleared the cache, stopped the app, restarted my phone, uninstalled the app, restarted the phone....it still won't stay open. No surprise - it also isn' t syncing to my watch. Since I also have a Google Chromebook, there will be no syncing until the problem with the app on my phone is resolved. Any other ideas of how to fix this would be appreciated.

I went on the web version and left the beta. Then cleared cache and data on my phone. It's working now. I'll wait a day or 2 before I go back to the beta

I have been enrolled in the beta for about a month now and since today the App keeps crashing upon launch.

I am running version 4.76.

It appears to keep syncing and after the sink the circle disappears and then reappears in the center of the app then it closes and sometimes the phone notices whether I want to end the app or not I have restarted the phone and does not appear to help

Just installed the new Garmin app

If you're referring to the beta version, you can always go back to the production version - How Do I Leave the Beta Program?

I have been enrolled in the beta for about a month now and since today the App keeps crashing upon launch.

I am running version 4.76.

No you can't. I've got the same problem and I can't get to the screen as the app crashes instantly. Worse, I cleared its storage (which SHOULD clear all the settings, setup information and such) and..... it set itself back up on next open but then immediately crashed again and in the second or two it was on the screen it was obvious it was still on the Beta, so it appears that the "switch" actually sets something on the back end and its not local to the phone -- and there is no way to shut the beta off.

I'm getting a crash on startup as well - but mine is happening pretty much immediately. I tried rebooting and then I tried clearing the cache and finally clearing the app storage - none of those fixed the issue. I'm on the beta connect app - seems like using the app as the mechanism to submit beta feedback is maybe not the best way given that it's useless if the app crashes on startup. I submitted feedback for the web version of connect and mentioned the android app, but I'm guessing no one will see that.

Got the same issue here. Have it set up on 2 phones, does the same on both. Crashes on opening

I am also having this issue, new as of today. Tried clearing all data, then uninstalled and it still doesn't work. Crashes as soon as it gets to the main dashboard, and my Epix Gen 2 won't sync. Also restarted phone, no difference.

Mine just started crashing today as well. I'm on the beta and it crashes as soon as I try to open it. I've tried clearing cache, clearing data, uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck
