So I've read many of the similar threads regarding low body batteries. This isn't a technology issue, and I know that "diagnosing" someone in an online forum is difficult, but honestly, I am so exhausted I can't even think for myself what to do any more...
I'm so desperate for sleep that I had my doctor call me in a sleeping pill Rx. But that also comes with medicine-head hangover so I do not want to use the Rx regularly. I've only taken it one night so I didn't expect any immediate changes.
Basically for the past two weeks, my body battery has not gone above 30. Most days it's been below 20. Only 1 day in the past two weeks got to 30.
As far as I can tell, I do not have any illness. I'm pretty in-tune with my body and I know for sure when I'm sick. Still, blood work shows nothing recent. I've never had Covid. No cold. No flu. Not even a stuffy or runny nose.
I don't drink alcohol. I stop caffeine by 11am, and usually only have a cup or two (compared to when I was a teacher and drank coffee all day). I exercise in the first half of the day. I hit my daily protein goal. I stop eating and drinking about 2 to 3 hours before bed. But I am hydrated throughout the day. I typically only drink water, coffee, and kombucha. Protein fills me up so I don't really have room for snacks or junk food, but if I do, it's typically for calories after I've eaten my meal.
I don't recall any specific wakings where I had preoccupied thoughts. I know in the past that would wake me up in the middle of the night.
I'm just desperate for sleep at this point. I've had plenty of days in the past that were above 40 or 50 or 60. But this has been the longest streak of low numbers... I'm just so tired.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
