Change of "Event Type"

See this with Garmin Connect Mobile for Android 4.76 running on:

• Google Pixel 7 Pro with Android 14 QPR3 Beta 2
• Goggle Pixel 6 Pro with Android 14

Still the same behaviour for me in the recently released Garmin Connect Mobile for Android 4.77.

For me the problem still exists with Garmin Connect Mobile for Android 4.77.

I normally don't use the app to edit my activities, so the issue was not immediately apparent. I encountered the same issue in the app. I opened a chat session with Garmin Support. After submitting a screen recording, uninstalling/reinstalling the app, restarting the phone and my watch, then sending Garmin Connect app logs...

Garmin Support: I went ahead and got the information submitted, it looks like they are currently investigating the issue. I also went ahead and submitted your information into the case that way they can see you are also being affected.

Thank you for submitting information to Garmin.  I noticed the same issue when saving activity from my Garmin watches to Garmin Connect app - started about a week ago.  I attempt to change activity type from uncategorized to e,g. training, hit save, but stays as uncategorized.  Will look for response.

Same also for 4.77.1. I hope this problem can get fixed soon.
