Am I correct that it is not possible to create a segment for the Trailblazer badge?

Most probably because you enabled Strava segments, instead of Garmin segments. Have a look at the article I linked in my previous post, for the instructions how to change it.

Have a look at some outdoor cycling activity recorded with Edge, whether segments are available there. If there is nothing either, then reach out to the Support at https://support.garmin.com and have them look at it. Use phone or chat for a faster response.

Both devices are up to date.

No segment with mountainbike ride where I used garmin edge 130+

I have changed my privacy setting to "everyone". Update is working at the moment. Maybe that is a solution?

Privacy is unimportant, but you have to enable Segments in User Profile settings, if you did not
