After the latest Android update in approximately Aug-Sept/2023, Garmin radically changed the 7-day & 4-week graphing format to depict the historical Body Battery data over time.
The line graph enabling the user to visually and rapidly discern Body Battery daily tendencies and to use the tendencies to extract and formulate useful daily strategies moving forward to optimize user body battey increases has (apparently) arbitrarily been changed by Garmin Connect developers to a bar graph only depicting the (much less useful) high and low for the day.
In a phone conversation with a Garmin CSR, it was revealed to me the ios version of Garmin Connect newest update still retains the (more useful) 7-day & 4-week historical line graph, while (again) the Android version does not.
Apparently, Garmin views ios Connect users: 1) as more valuable, thereby investing the necessary resources to ensure the historical line graph remained intact after the latest Connect update, OR 2( Garmin developers are not sufficiently competent to figure out how to retain the line graph post Update for Android, OR 3) Garmin arbitrarily concluded that ios and Android users view and interpolate historical data differently.
Personally, I believe (unfortunately) #1 above is the simple, correct answer, which I find extremely disappointing.
Therefore, as a now unhappy Android Garmin Connect user, I will earnestly be searching for a better alternative to track, record and depict historical biometric data than Garmin.
Does any other Garmin Connect Android user feel as I do?
Thank you.
