Cannot rename course after last app update

I have had the same problem for about a week. By default the ride is named Cycling ... Date. I have used the download feature for years with no issue. I can rename them using the website, but this is irritating because I do my downloads via the app. 

Same issue here. Also not able to share a route. 

Pretty annoyed. 

Same for me. Noticed I couldn't save new route names when importing GPX a couple days back and still can't today. Seems to affect all sports. 

The only "fix" I have found is using a computer to login to Garmin Connect online and change route names manually. 

Hi sorry to bother you I get no joy from garmin and can not navigate this site . What was you fix on GPX  file please.

In connect web I can rename that course. It's very irritating!

Edit: Not solved in the latest version 4.58.1

Suggestion: While importing a gpx file, the gpx filename should be set as preference for the course name. I's very annoying always do the renaming manually!

In Garmin Connect Android v4.58 it is no longer possible to save a course that has been renamed.

Steps to reproduce:

• open Garmin Connect Android app;
• open menu by clicking hamburger in top left;
• go to Training, and then Courses;
• open one of the courses from the list by clicking on its name;
• click on the triple-dot menu on top right and select Edit
• a drawer opens on the bottom, drag it up so it takes up the full screen;
• click on the Course name field;
• a Course name dialog box open where you can change the name, before clicking Done, notice that behind the dialog on the top right a Save button is showing;
• now click Done, the dialog closes and you'll notice the Safe button which was there disappears with it. When you try to back out of the edit mode it will warn you about unsaved changes, but there is no way to actually save them because the Save button stays gone.

I experienced this on a Google Pixel 5 running Android 12, but my guess is this will affect others phones and Android versions too.

This should be an easy fix, hope it can be rolled out quickly. Thanks in advance.

Same issue here, so I have to get on the web and amend it via my notebook/PC... that's the only work around for now.
