Cannot rename course after last app update

Cannot rename course after last app update (4.58) 

When I rename a course the "done" button dissappears in the top right corner.  

When I press the back button the app aks if I want to continue without saving.

    I'm having the exact same issue. I wish that Garmin would just keep the same name as the file you are importing rather than defaulting to whatever the day's date is. We wouldn't have to rename the courses then. I hope they sort this out soon.

    In the latest version of Garmin Connect at Android, I have the issue that when I rename a course I get a pop-upscreen, where I can change the name. When I push OK to save this new name, the OK to save the course is gone. So I Can't save the renamed course.

    This also happens when I import a new GPX to a course, and change the name.

    Please look into this

    Same issue. I'm about to go on a 2 day cycle ride and I can't rename the courses and because it automatically calls them the same thing my device won't store them both! It seems like one thing after another with the Garmin Connect App - not been impressed since starting to use it a few weeks ago.

    The issue with GPXs is well documented which I've resolved by converting OS map GPX files into ones without waypoints.

    Today a new issue has arisen and the only way I can get round it is with the web browser (not ideal).

    If on importing a course I go to rename it, the save / done button completely disappears so there is no way to save and only go back.

    This would be fine if Garmin didn't use default and generic names.

    Has anyone had this issue with the Android app?

    Between this and the GPX issues I can't believe how backwards the app has gone and unless resolved I will be looking at other brands when it comes to time to get a new watch!

    If you use a desktop web browser (or download Puffin Browser from app store) and go to courses on connect.garmin.com you can rename. Though obviously not ideal but it is a work around.

    GARMIN Please, can you fix this and set the activity name from original GPX name ?
