Cannot rename course after last app update

Cannot rename course after last app update (4.58)

When I rename a course the "done" button dissappears in the top right corner.

When I press the back button the app aks if I want to continue without saving.

This is the workaround I have been using.

- After you rename a course, the DONE button disappears.
- Tap the Options button.
- Tap Add Course Points.
- When the new window pops up, just tap back without…

I'm having the exact same issue. I wish that Garmin would just keep the same name as the file you are importing rather than defaulting to whatever the day's date is. We wouldn't have to rename the courses…

How on earth is this still not fixed? I'm a developer, if I introduced a regression like this and didn't fix it I'd never hear the end of it!

I noticed the same issue today.

This issue wasted a significant amount of time the night before riding.

You might say that you just need to do this ahead of time, but this is not an option when you're on a multiday day ride across the country.

Based on other replies, Garmin Connect Website is supposed to to allow you to rename the course.

You can access Garmin Connect website by using this link:

https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/

(in case like me you struggled to actually access it from aa mobile browser where you keep getting re-diverted to their limited app instead...

... But wait, I've just tried this and the p***ks crippled the courses functions on the website as well.

Well done geniuses... Wait, that's incorrect, greedy gits.

I experience the same. Wanted to report this bug too. I have it with cycling GPX files that I import. When changing the name, the Save button disappears. Happens since a couple of weeks.

The 3 dots don't reappear for me after I change the course name. Seems fine on my ipad mini app, so will have to use that instead of android phone

Just updated to the latest version 4.59 and guess what...........

Garmin still haven't fixed it
