Boddy battery not working

My vivo active4 body battery stopped working properly 4 days ago. It's fully drained and won't go up past 5 even though I have been getting lots of sleep and had plenty restful moments over these days. It just keeps saying mty stress is super high and not moving past 5. T says this even at rest. I've turned it on and off and also updated but nothing is working. Can you help? Thanks!

  • Can you help?

I am afraid that not. If the watch tells the stress is high all the time, the body battery will not recharge. Ain't you using a cardio-stimulator, betablockers, or some other cardiac medication? If you feel the watch could be right about your high stress, better consult your physician.

  • Thanks, my heart rate readings seem to be normal for me though. Like they have been since I got the watch over a year ago. Worked fine until last 4 days but my hr hasn't changed so I don't understand why the readings are so low.

You only see the HR, you do not see the HR Variability that is the data used for evaluating the stress. Well, unless your watch supports the feature "Health Snapshot" - there you can see the specific HRV values and can consult them with your physician.

I have never seen body battery give meaningful data. I have been using the watch for about 2 1/2 months now and can find no logic as to what causes body battery to charge.  If I were to believe what it shows, I need to sleep for a week to get charged up! mywakehealth

  • Perhaps, reading the following document may help understanding better how it works and why:

  • Body battery is using the stress readings to charge and recharge. Stress is measured by HRV. What does your stress graph look like?

You need below 25 in stress to recharge body battery.

  • So Friday was the last day it was normal for me. Although between 7.57pm and 11.59pm the battery increased 35, which isn't normal, that was super quick. Anyway, since then it's been high, med and low stress not much rest at all but the wee bit that is there doesn't increase the battery..

  • Could you post screenshots of the body battery graph that shows what you are writing? It is a lot easier to understand the details with images.

  • So that's thurs and fri which was normal apart from the big increase and then Saturday where it drained and then today. The battery has been at 5 since Sunday, no increase even at sleep.
