Forerunner 745 cellphone connectivity

Good Day, I have upgraded my Garmin vivoactive HR to a Forerunner 745. The new watch is awesome. Except that it looses connection with my Samsung A31 cellphone. It keeps popping up with a pin number to enter every time I leave the room. Surely once the watch is linked to the phone it should recognize it and connect straight away. I have tried rebooting the watch, the cellphone, relinking the watch to the cellphone via the garmin app. I have even reset my cellphone network or connectivity. Everything is up to date. There must be a problem somewhere. Never had issues with my previous watch and the same cellphone. Kind regards Neil

I would go into Garmin Connect app >> Garmin Devices. Select each Garmin device, then "Remove Device."
Close the app
Go into Android Bluetooth settings >> "Unpair" each Garmin device.
Restart the phone and the 745
Open the Garmin Connect app and start the pairing process again.

If that doesn't work, consider clearing the Bluetooth cache.

I have already done everything you have suggested already. On the odd day everything will be fine, then most days it keeps loosing connection and I have put the code. Its becoming really annoying.

If you've cleared the BT cache and still issues, then contact Garmin Support via phone or chat.

Hola yo tengo el mismo problema con un Samsung A41. Con mi anterior Vivoactive 4 y el mismo smartphone no tengo prolema de este tipo. Hice todos los pasos que indican por este foro y también me puse en contacto con asistencia técnica de Garmin por teléfono y me recomendaron hacer lo mismo. No funciona. Es una pérdida de tiempo.

Hice todos esos pasos en tres ocasiones y no hay ningún cambio. Tengo Android 11.

Eso ya lo he hecho y la única solución que aportan es enviar al Servicio Técnico el dispositivo para que me envíen otro dispositivo reacondicionado. Lo que es obvio, es que se trata de un fallo en el firmware de Garmin.
