How do i sync an activity that I deleted? It's still on my watch but won't resync to garmin connect.

I deleted my run from garmin connect hoping to resync it again to correct an error but it won't sync.

Try a manual upload - How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?

If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file. Attach it to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., then post a link to the file in your post.

Thanks for that but it seems I now have a problem with my device, either it's my watch or the USB. System is saying that it has malfunctioned and does not recognise it.

Did this ever get answered? I have the same issue right now. My Fenix 6 registered an accidental fall when I went on some gravel, I did not cancel the alert but was in the middle of a triathlon and it just stopped the workout, luckily I was on the bike portion and was recording the work out separately on my 530 computer. When the partial workout synced to Garmin connect, I open the bike portion of the work out and then selected delete, I got a popup asking me “do you want to delete the cycling” I selected Yes. But it deleted the entire workout including the swim and T1. It’s still on my watch but it won’t re-sync? Help?
