Won't connect to new phone

HI all, I've just got a new phone and can't get my 530 to connect to it. Both my phone and garmin get stuck on the below screens. I have tried resetting my Garmin and reinstalling COnnect but no joy. I've also tried to reconnect to my old phone and now it won't do that!

I don't think you connect by using the Bluetooth settings area of your phone. I think you need to do it via the Connect app.

Hi, I am using the Connect app. My phone can 'see' the 530 to know it is there but neither device will go past those screens.

You didn't mention which phone, so try one of these fixes. During the process make sure you "Unpair" (android) or "forget this device" (iPhone) your Garmin devices from all mobile devices (both old and new phones) in the Bluetooth settings.

Thanks for the videos. I have tried the advice in it and now the 530 is reconnecting to my old phone (Moto G(6)) but still won't go past the screen on my new one (Samsung A21s). I have tried connecting it with it both remembered and deleted from my old phone with the 530 before and after a reset but no joy. I have also tried several old versions of the GC app as sugested in this ink: https://forums.garmin.com/apps-software/mobile-apps-web/f/garmin-connect-mobile-ios/87052/connection-problems-with-new-phone

My phone can see the 530 in the normal Bluetooth connection screen (I'm not conecting via there just checking my phone can see it) but no in GC app.

It is not advised to connect to more than one mobile device. I suggest starting over and don't try to connect to both phones, only the new one that you plan on using. Forget the Garmin on the old phone, then turn the Bluetooth off or just power the phone off.

I did not try to connect to both at the same time. I restarted the process with each phone.

That is the problem then. Just use1 phone for your 530. Is there a reason you want to use both?
