Hello! What error message do you see when you click on these options? Are you looking at these features in the Garmin Connect App or watch? The incident detection and live tracking must be first set up with the Garmin Connect app.
An error has occurred it says.. Im still trying to set up from the garmin connect app. And I can't complete the set up because I can't even open the safety features and live tracking because of the error message. What should I do? Thanks!
What phone are you using? Let's try to uninstall the app and reinstall it and see if you experience the same issue.

Hi again! It doesn't work. We tried setting up the watch with an iPhone and it worked smoothly. There were no error messages. So it probably has issues with huawei.. thanks for your help!
Hi, I have the exact same problem. Not able to set it up in the app, just returns "an error occurred" immediately. I'm using a Samsung s10e. I tried reinstalling app, re-pairing phone/watch and logging out and in. Nothing seems to work
