Sleep and Activities card disappeared from My day

Hello, I recently bought a Fenix 6X Pro, and everything worked fine on the Garmin Connect mobile app on Galaxy Note 10, until a couple of days ago when my activities and sleep card suddenly disappeared from "My Day". Everything is synced, and when I go trough the menu, I can see everything, but it's annoying that it doesn't show up on the first "My Day" screen. When I go to "Edit My Day" everything is checked so I really don't understand why it doesn't show up and disspeared so suddenly without a reason. I also tried removing the device from the app, but it didn't work.

PLEASE HELP! This is really annoying because I tried everything and don't know what to do to get it working.

  • The problem is with today's stats, I understand how it works.

I tried "Clear Cache" a couple of days ago and that did not work.

I reinstalled the app again and will report in a few days if that solved it or not.

An activity will also disappear when you accidentally (or intentionally) swipe it to the side. In that case using the function Restore today's dismissed cards at the top of the Edit My Day screen would put it back.

  • I'm aware of dismissing cards by swiping and then restoring it - that is not the issue.

Interesting turn of events...Yesterday I reinstalled the app, and the cards didn't show up again, everything stayed the same - no activity, sleep, nor heart rate card.

I will try reinstalling the app again today and keep you updated.

  • Are you sure you logged into the right account?

  • Thanks for the question hahah...yes I'm pretty sure I logged in to the right account because I only have one

  • Don't laugh. It's a very common mistake because the app is designed in such a way that creating a new account is more prominent than logging into an existent account.

  • You could try uninstalling the app, and installing an older version from an unofficial APK archive such as the apkssl.com or apkmirror.com, for the case that the latest version is somehow incompatible with your phone.

And of course, make sure the app has all the permissions it needs. And if you happend to use the Developer options in Android settings, either disable them, or set them all to default values.

Also, if you use any app for the suppression of ads, try disabling it temporarily, to see whether it does not cause the problems.

  • After some experimenting with a lot of things, I actually found the cause and solution why the cards disappeared in the Garmin app.

I'm using a third party app called "Weight Logger" for tracking my weight and exporting it to Garmin. The problem is that this app can track more things (like for example: visceral fat rating, physique ratting, daily calorie intake)  than the Garmin app/server/weight scale does, so when you export the data that Garmin by default doesn't recognize, it interferes somehow with the cards in the Garmin app, and then they disappear.

My solution to the Card disappearing problem:

    1. Don't use a third party app for exporting your weight data to Garmin

    2. If you use third party apps for exporting weight data to Garmin, only export those which Garmin recognizes. That are: Weight, Body fat, Skeletal Muscle Mass, Bone Mass and Body Water.

The third party app Weight Logger has the option to disable tracking the data which Garmin doesn't recognize, so I only chose the data described above, and that solved my Problem.

  • Well, that's a new one on me.

  • I've accidentally hidden a card but have no way of putting it back. Can't see Restore today's dismissed cards anywhere,?
