Challenge miles not saved

Did you record the walks by a Garmin device as Walk activities? Please note, that for example Hikes, or simple walking without a logged Walk activity, do not count.

My current Garmin device is the Vivosport. The challenges are being recorded using this.

Share the web links for some of the Walk activities, so that we can have a look what may be wrong.

There are no activities logged. I have been joining challenges but they are not logging progress or saving as complete. 

The only challenge that has any progress currently logged is the Step Challenge. 

Nice, but the screenshots do not show any Walk activities. Please go to the page Activities, click the icon of the Wlak type, and post a screenshot of the list it shows.

As I said. It says no activities logged.

Well, you did not log any Walk activities, and that's why you have no miles in the Walk Challenge. You have to start a Walk Activity when going to walk (or enabling the activity auto-starting feature based on Move IQ). Please consult the user manual of your device, if you do not know how to do it - it differs from device to device, so it is difficult to give you the exact instructions here. Or watch some YouTube videos - there are plenty of them for every Garmin's model, on YT.

The auto-start feature was active. I tried to do a similar challenge to this last month but couldn't get this to record my miles. 

Will look into this further. And consult the all powerful YT.

Then start the Walk activities manually. It is easy, and better to have the full control over it, anyway

I have the same issues and figured it out. The 2021 Walking Stage 1 Challenge or any other challenges where you need to record your miles does not work unless you start the walk activity from your watch. If you try to add the activity manually which most of us do, the walk activity is not being recorded against the challenge. I have been unable to record all my miles against any walk challenges that require me to track my miles. Any challenges where it counts your steps are working as per normal but not those for miles. I am attaching the pictures captured today where I started the walk activity from my watch rather than manually entering a walk activity from my phone app.  As you can see, all previous activities recorded in January are not accounted for in the Walking Challenge unless the walk is initiated from my watch. I recommend that this be fixed
