This happens to me constantly. I want to look at the history or prediction of my cycle, and it invites me to "Get Started." Then I'll look at it later and it will be back. This will happen the same day…
I am also having the same issues. Previously I could get data back by logging off/ in but now nothing works. I am seething as was tracking peri menopause timeline and have lost my record of key dates &…
3 years on it’s still happening! Shocking really. All my other data is there but from 1 day to the next my cycle data is gone. So any argument that it’s a different account is nonsense.
I am also having the same issues. Previously I could get data back by logging off/ in but now nothing works. I am seething as was tracking peri menopause timeline and have lost my record of key dates & symptoms. I am disappointed that Garmin is not responding to this issue which is causing so much distress. I'm pretty disgusted that I've found this thread from OVER THREE YEARS AGO and the only response from Garmin has been "no, you're doing it wrong" rather than acknowledging they have a problem.
I'm here because logging in on a new phone (with the correct account ) wiped all my tracker data, but kept all the exercise data.

I do not see any comment from Garmin here in this thread. And since this is a user forum, and not a direct support platform, it is also not surprising. It is quite rare than anyone from Garmin comments here. If you want to speak to Garmin, I recommend contacting them through https://support.garmin.com
However if you see only activities and no other metrics on your new phone, then it is practically certain that you created a new account instead of using the original one. Only activities still staying on your watched synced to the new account. Remove the watch from the Garmin Connect app, sign out, search your old emails from Garmin, and sign in back with the original email address. The old data will be there.
Have a look also at the following article for some more details and instructions: Data is Missing from My Garmin Connect Account After Syncing | Garmin Customer Support

BTW same phone, same watch. Have not logged out.
And what did Garmin's Support tell you when you contacted them?
