Live track not working on link

Live track says its started and mails the link but when people try to view it it come up with yellow box saying 'The activity is not yet complete, but the tracking session has ended' or a different one.

It's been working fine for some time but in the last month has been doing this every ride. 

 Have a garmin 520 edge and Sony Xz1

Can anyone help?

    Yea, it worked on Tuesday and failed on Wednesday.

    Apparently, when I start it my partner can track for around 50 metres then it just stops and spins in the one location until I'm home.

    It's all a bit random

    I tried v4.31.1 yesterday (20th June) and it still doesn't work. I use an Edge 25 with GC running on a Moto G4 (Android 7). I've raised a call with Garmin to add to the numbers of people complaining. Can but try.

    Sure looks to me like Garmin does not care.   I purchased the Edge 520 last year specifically for the LiveTrack feature.    I had to sideload an APK for Connect 4.29 just to make it usable again.  On top of this I actually triggered an emergency detection/incident with hard fall on the pavement on a ride this weekend.  I'm fine with only a sore back and a nice road rash on my arm.    My wife automatically got text messages and emails - and was calling and headed to pick me up within 30 seconds!    This proves the worth of this feature and underscores the reason I purchased it.   But guess what?   This would not have worked unless I had loaded the 4.29 APK!   

    Can I still get a refund?   I've also purchased a Vivoactive 3 and recently a Vivoactive 4.   Am I going to getting this same lack of support for these devices?

    Guess so....

    I really like my Edge 1000, it's good hardware but Garmin is truelly lacking in terms of software and customer support.

    It's not the first time that live track has been broken. If past times are an indication it's gonna take a few weeks to a few months and then it will work again - until they break it again a year later...Till then you'll have to try out every new Apk version and roll back afterwards, with auto-updates turned off, manually updating your other nine thousand apps on your phone...

    Apparently that's what you get for buying a top-of-the-line flagship bike computer!

    But don't fret with your dated device, here's the ne Garmin Edge 1030 PLUS(!) bike comuter. Please buy!! 

    Think I'll sell my Garmin and move to Bryton or Wahoo.

  • There is a new Connect 4.32 version that fixed the problem for me with my Edge 520.  Livetrack is working again!
