Live track not working on link

Live track says its started and mails the link but when people try to view it it come up with yellow box saying 'The activity is not yet complete, but the tracking session has ended' or a different one.

It's been working fine for some time but in the last month has been doing this every ride. 

 Have a garmin 520 edge and Sony Xz1

Can anyone help? 

  • Live Track does not work for Edges due to a bug in the current version of GC. Wait for the fix, or downgrade to v4.29 from a pubic APK archive, if you are in a hurry. There are several threads here on the forum discussing it, so look them up for more details.

  • I have exactly the same issue on my Forerunner 735XT and Samsung A40, Livetrack had been working fine up until last week. Now every session fails to track, I have the same message as N-E-I-L and also "No signal - Trying to Reconnect" for the whole session. Livetrack also doesn't stop when my activity stops, i have to manually stop it. 

    Can you help ?

    Unless it is a Bluetooth connectivity issue in your case (until now I heard complaints only from Edge users), then yes, still the same answer: Report it to the support, wait for the fix in a new GCM version, or downgrade to v4.29 from a pubic APK archive, if you are in a hurry.

    • Just discoved that my vivo active works with live track so it's the Garmin 520 that has the problem.

    Can some one inform were can i get tha 4.29 or older version of the APK? thanks. 

  • I used apkmirror.com - just search for the Connect app and you'll find 4.29, worked for me Ok hand

    I had the exact same problem. Livetrack worked fine until the Connect 4.31 update whcih came out in late May or so. I could not get Livetrack to work, and I tried every conceivable troubleshooting measure from Garmin Support, Google, Youtube etc. Several days ago I finally deleted Connect Cache and Data storage, uninstalled the App and then downloaded and installed the Garmin Connect 4.29 APK file from APK mirror website. This rolled back the Connect Version to 4.29 dated April 2nd. This completely solved the promblem and Livetrack has worked properly since I rolled it back. Apparently there is a known Livetrack problem in Version 4.31 that Garmin need to address and correct.

    My phone is a Galaxy S8 Active and this was the first time I had a LIvetrack problem.
