- why virtual climb badge ( 735 ft or 1000ft) were not awarded after complete a more than 1000 ft floor climb activity?
I had issues and so did my wife where we completed the activity in the house. We have different Garmin watches but both watches did record the altitude gain correctly, but we both didn't get the badge…
I have Fenix 3 and it does not have a dedicated Floor Climbing activity App.
Today, I did 154 floors showing 368m Accent and 369 decent... and still no badge !!
So, I did a lot of searching, including…
Just figured that out 1 minute ago and was about to delete my post. Thank you for the fast and efficient reply!

Please share the activity as web link, and post the link here. Most likely the Elevation Gain was not sufficient.
Check out my floor climbing activity on Garmin Connect. #beatyesterday

Unfortunately, your barometric altimeter registered ony 70m of Elevation Gain, and that is not enough, although the Ascent value is much higher and would be sufficient if it was considered. For the Floor Climb badge it is the Elevation Gain, which is used, though.
Looks like I'll never be awarded for the virtual climbing badge even if I expend 3-4 hours climbing my house stairs! lol
Looks to me as if you need to go slower, and take a few seconds rest when you climb the floor, before you descend again. It looks like you are too fast for the barometer to catch up on you Or pehaps the pressure sensor hole is just clogged with dirt, dust, or sweat. Make sure to keep it clean and dry.
I done same activity with enough elevation, but I don't have the badge to
Could you share the activity as weblink and post the link here? I'll have a look

Yes, the activity seems to be all right for the 735ft Druid Arch badge. Both Elevation Gain and Ascent are above the limit, the floor count is all right, as well as the date of the activity, and the activity type.
You could try activating the edit function making a minor change (adding a Calorie, for example) and saving it. Toggling the activity type to another sport and back to Floor Climb again, is another way that often works even when editing the title, oe actvity made no effect.
If it does not help either, export the activity in the FIT format (the option Export Original in the cogwheel menu), delete the activity from GC, and reimport it from the FIT file.
If nothing helps, contact the Support providing them the link to the activity, and please let us then know what they told you - it might be interesting to know what the reason of the failure was, for others too.
Hey Trux - please check into mine as well. I should have smashed all 4 of the virtual climb badges but nothing is showing after 500m of elevation gain.....I'm using a Fenix 3 which doesn't seem to hav the Floor Climb app. Is there another app I can use?
