Spotify CIQ App not working correctly

We are investigating reports that the Spotify CIQ App not working correctly and we are wanting your feedback. Please provide some details about what is occurring when you try to use or setup the Spotify Connect IQ App. Below are just a few questions we would like answered.

  • What is happening? (e.g. failing during setup, sync failure, playback failure, etc.)
  • What kind of phone are you using?
  • What kind of headphones are you using?
  • What Garmin Device do you have?
  • When was the last time Spotify worked correctly?
  • Does the problem only happen with a specific Audio File?
  • Are you using Public WiFi? (Using a Wi-Fi Device on a Captive Portal)
  • What software version is on your Device?
  • Do you have a vivoactive 4 (Hero Series or Saga Series) device?

    I cant download music in my vivoactive 4.  The sync is always failing. 

    • What kind of phone are you using?    Pixel 3
    • What kind of headphones are you using?  Tozo 12
    • What Garmin Device do you have? Vivoactive 4
    • When was the last time Spotify worked correctly?  Today.  Still works but I cant download complete playlists. The download fails
    • Does the problem only happen with a specific Audio File? No
    • Are you using Public WiFi? (Using a Wi-Fi Device on a Captive Portal)  No
    • What software version is on your Device?   SW version 4.7
    • Do you have a vivoactive 4 (Hero Series or Saga Series) device?  Yes.

    Just got the forerunner 245 music

     Have samsung galaxy 9 plus. Have no problems until trying to sync playlists from spotify. "Sync failed" message is all I get. Fully charged, secure wifi, have spotify premium. No reason this should not work.

  • Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Vivoactive 3 music.  It "starts to sync" but doesnt get past 0% and then displays "sync failed" and just an OK as a user reply.

    I did get it to work after doing a reset of the phone.

    I had this problem yesterday - did a reset (googled how to) and worked after that- hope it works for you too

    I have a fr 645m, spotify sync has functioned well in the past. Now, the syncing starts but at a certain percentage it doesnt continue, stays at that percentage for a while and then stop saying "syncing failed". I am using a secure home WiFi network

    Hodinky vivoactive 3. Spotify nelze z hodinek ovladat, tvari se ze hudba nehraje. Fungovalo min.tyden urcite v poradku. Telefon samsung J5.
