Well, besides the same requirements as for the manual alert (emergency contacts in your settings), the automated alert is indeed automated, hence no additional instructions are needed. I would tell that details about the Incident Detection should be in your User Manual. I cannot give you the direct link, since you did not mention the model you use, but I suppose you'll be abe to check it too.
