After latest update, why is my vivoactive3 music not connecting automatically with my android phone?

After the latest update from Garmin, my viviactive3 music cannot connect automatically with garmin connect, so past few days I've to off and on my phone wifi. Troublesome if I've to manually do so everyday. Before update, it was very good, auto connect anytime. Pls advise tks
