Rolling last 7 days on watch

I have a fenix5, and I am wondering if there is any watchface that shows total milage/kilometers run last rolling 7 days? Or, if there is any other app that will show this one the watch? I know this is available in the mobile app, but I want to be able to see it on the watch

  • Did you manage to find a way to do this?

  • Not sure about Fenix 5, but on my instinct, I can go to Menu » History » Activities to browse through all actvities stored on the watch, and also to Menu » History » Totals » Running » Weekly to see weekly sums of kilometers ran each week. I guess Fenix offers certainly a similar function too.

Thats not exactly the same though, I want the running total past 7 days.

Well, you can add it up, but if you need to see it on the watch more comfortably, try asking on the Connect IQ Developer forum, perhaps someone already offers such widget, or can do one for you.

Sure I can add it up, but then whats the point with having an advanced sports watch - I would rather have it displayed automatically :) Thanks for the tip, will try that forum as well.

The point is that the watch system is suficiently flexible so that anyone can add features as needed - with the help of the Connect IQ apps and widgets. No manufacturer will manage to implement the tens of thousands of different requests, that you can find on these forums - practically every single user wants to see something else. So while you want to see a running total for 7 days, most people do not care, others might prefere 3 days, 10 days, or whatever else.

  • That's a shame, I find it a really useful metric.

  • Why shame? Did you already try asking on the IQ forum? Or on the Fenix 5 forum? It may be already available. And you can always suggest any new ideas also directly to Garmin. They cannot know what users want to see if nobody tells them.

You misunderstand, my comment was to your suggestion to sum it manually. Of course Garmin can't implement every feature. But from a training stress perspective, a weekly sum doesent make much sense, as the body doesnt reset on mondays:) I was just asking here to see if this was an existing feature, so no need to make a fuzz..
