Cannot login Garmin connect app java.lang.Exception: 401

Hi,

im a new user of the garmin vivoactive 3.

But I cant login in the garmin connect app (Android).

I created a new account, but when I try to login I get the error message java.lang.Exception: 401.

When I login to garmin connect via web browser, there is the message "Looks Like Our Laces Came Undone".

So there ist no way for me to become a new user.

What can I do?

I have the same problem I just bought my garmin Fenix 5 today and I can't login the app so I can't connect it with my mobile phone, I have a huawei p20 pro by the way

Sorry i fixed it (through another thread on this forum). I had a ü in my name which caused the error.

I corrected my name through the site and was able to login on the app.

i had a "non-english" character in my name (ü). I made a new profile without this character and it worked :)

Thank you! I changed my name, ö -> o, in existing profile and I could login.
