Cannot login Garmin connect app java.lang.Exception: 401

Hi, 

im a new user of the garmin vivoactive 3.

But I cant login in the garmin connect app (Android).

I created a new account, but when I try to login I get the error message java.lang.Exception: 401.

When I login to garmin connect via web browser, there is the message "Looks Like Our Laces Came Undone".

So there ist no way for me to become a new user.

What can I do?

    I have exactly the same problem. Did get my watch yesterday and tried to set it up but couldn't connect to phone or to account. And Garmin support aren't helping at all Angry

    Same issue hete. I am able to login through the website after creating an account in the app but get the language 401 error upon login through the app. The support site shows they forgot to add Dutch to the latest app and that the would use the 2nd language set on my phone which in my case is set to English. Still getting the 401. Unfortunately I just got my new watch which I can't setup without the app.

    Same problem here. I am able to login to the site after creating an account in the app but can't login to the app as I get the language 401 error. Still getting the 401 though.

    Hi,

    I'm also a new customer and I'm having the same problems as you, Bernd. It's been two days now. There doesn't seem to be any information coming from Garmin. Anyone have any ideas?

  • Same Problem here (BQ Aquaris X Pro). Bought a Forerunner 945 yesterday and can't use it yet. Very disappointed! If it won't work the next days, i'll switch to an other brand...sad, but true
