Can't sign into garmin connect keeps saying android account Account manager add account explicity returned:False

  • This happened to me after I reset my password using Garmin Express on my PC.  I selected "log off all accounts" thinking it would be easy to re-login to Garmin Connect on my phone with the new password.  Nope.  But - after uninstalling/reinstalling Garmin Connect, it let me log in with the new password with no problems.

  • Same problem, same error message on the Android App. I removed and reinstalled the app on my OnePlus 3T as suggested by biscuit314 and the problem disappeared. Thanks!

    I had the same issue. I just went into the Android apps, located the Connect app, and deleted all app data on the phone. Solved the issue as I can now sign in again as if I had just installed for the first time.
