Bluetooth connection problem with Huawei P30 pro with forerunner 245 music watch

What happen to the android garmin connect apps? My Huawei P30 pro can't Bluetooth connection with my forerunner 245 music watch!

I do not know what your specific problem exactly is, but with my VA3 and Huawei P20 lite my connection problems vanished when I enabled location (GPS) on the phone.

Typically I turn off both VA3 and phone…

Thanks a lot for your tip. Enabling the gps location for the garmin connect app solved my bluetooth connection problem!

I have the same problem with P30 and firerunner 245. Any help with solving it?

I do not know what your specific problem exactly is, but with my VA3 and Huawei P20 lite my connection problems vanished when I enabled location (GPS) on the phone.

Typically I turn off both VA3 and phone over night, so in the morning they have to reconnect. With GPS turned on on the phone, Garmin Connect app connects with the watch within a few seconds.

Any update on this issue? It's been 5 months. I have the same exact problem, P30 Pro with Forerunner 245 connection problem, really annoying

Try the troubleshooting guide in the following thread, check all the tips and do not skip the tips specifically for Huawei.

What version of Android , mine 235 was working great until I upgraded to emui 10 :(

Thank you trux! I have tried most of them, work for some times but suddenly the problem happened again. Would try your other suggestions.

JulianMilligan ah! same here, mine is 245 and no issue with emui 9. When my phone's OS was upgraded to emui 10, the problem started. Sometimes it can connect, sometimes it's not connected and I have to unpair and pair them again

I have a 235 and a p30 pro with Android 10. After the last sync app version , I am facing the same problem. I have already tried every single tip and the problem still happens. The only workaround that help was not turn off my cellphone
