Cool new feature - time spent in Heart Zones chart :)

This apparently happened in today's new Connect for Android update (since only today's ride shows this, and the app was updated on my phone today).

(Edit to add. Connect wasn't updated today after all, but for some reason today's ride showed this feature, which is odd, since I wear a heart rate monitor for nearly all rides. So that leaves me wondering why it's not happening for ALL rides with a HRM?)

But it seems we now have a nice little bar chart showing time spent in each heart zone...

I'm sorry, but what is the new feature? I'm pretty sure the chart was there since I started using Garmin watches (like more than 2 years ago).

I've had this view in my running activities for some time; so I don't think it was tied to a recent update.

It suddenly appeared yesterday and only on yesterday's ride. I've no idea why that was. Just checked and the app update was July 30, so two weeks ago. So I was wrong about that.

In that case it's curious why this showed on yesterday's ride and none of the other rides since the July update. I wear a heart monitor for nearly all rides.

Garmin Edge 25 plus the Garmin chest strap heart rate monitor.

As far as I'm aware, the Edge 25 only records the heart data, the analysis must be being done on the servers at Connect. It also appears on the web version of Connect, but only for yesterday's and today's rides, so far. Looks like a new (and very welcome) feature.

Well, as I said, it only appeared for the first time on my phone and the web version of Garmin Connect a few days ago (the day I posted). So it's new as far as I'm concerned. It's a very welcome change, and I like it. Too many threads in here whinging about things. I wanted to post a positive one. But you can try to make it negative if you want.

I've no idea what changed to make it happen. Not changed anything at my end.

None of my rides older than a few days ago show this feature.

OK. NP. Can I ask you if you had this previously on bike rides or running (or both)?
Someone else said they had it on running. It's a bit odd that it suddenly appeared for me, but I'm very glad to have it.

Have it on both. Even the gym workouts have this chart. Could it be that it is device specific?
