Samsung S10+ won't pair with Forerunner 935

Hi all, hoping someone has a solution to this one.

Recently upgraded the phone from a S Note 8 to a S10+. Forerunner 935 refuses to pair to it. The code occasionally pops up for a millisecond, but there is no way to read it and enter it on the phones before either show an error message.

The watch paired with a mates phones when I tested it today, and I have the S10+ paired with 2x sets of headphones and the car. So it seems to be a unique issue between the 935 and the S10+

I have tried all manner of resets (inc a full factory reset on the S10+ today).

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Jeff

Same just started happening for me, with a Garmin fenix 5x plus. Just after Samsung's latest update had been installed. Disappointed(samsung s10)

Right now I can't even get them to pair again...

    Was there any resolution?

My Note10+ and Fenix 5S+ won't hold their pairing.  Can get them to pair once but then lose pairing and won't reconnect automatically.

Hi, I have just upgraded my phone to the 10+ and having the same issues! Pretty frustrating! Did anyone manage to work out a fix for the problem??

  • Just follow the instructions from the user manual for installation, and pair the watch with the phone from the side of the watch, and not oppositely. When it does not help, check out this post.

Thanks mate. I will give it a go through the watch and then if that fails go through the link points. Really appreciate the assistance....it's pretty frustrating!!

One thing that def helps is removing all other paired devices from your headphones and then also remove your watch from your Garmin account and re-pair

Complete pain in the ass, but I got there after weeks of tinkering!
