Connect Not Showing All the Data

Former Member

Recently my Garmin Connect App seems to have stopped showing some of its data, such as sleep.  It's showing on the web but not on the app.  I have not changed anything it just seems to have stopped.  Even re-syncing doesn't seem to change anything.

My watch seems to be polling the data but the app is not presenting it.

I am using Android and Version 4.19.1 of Garmin Connect

Anyone else experiencing this and any ideas how to sort?

No I only have one account and slowly obey the past month sections have disappeared starting with sleep. I've not uninstalled and reinstated the app yet. But in the absence of any official advice I'll have to do something. Very disappointing

  • But in the absence of any official advice

This is a user forum for mutual help. For getting help from Garmin, you have to contact the Support

However, your trouble is almost certainly caused by your device being associated with more than one account. It happens often to people when they reinstall the phone app, change the phone, or use the Sign Up button instead of the Sign In. Follow the instructions from the support document Data is Missing from My Garmin Account After Syncing to resolve the issue.

  • Hi - exact same issue I had.

It started mid Feb and I tried all you did above with no success. I also removed the app from my phone and reinstalled it. Then out the blue (more than 2 months after I tried all this)  it just started working again around mid June.

I also most definitely didn't have more than 1 account.

  • Did you ever resolve this? I am having the exact same problem. Everything I’ve tried that’s been suggested hasn’t worked. I only have one account and one device.

  • Try this - Remove and Add a Device From the Garmin Connect App | Garmin Customer Support and see the next day, whether it helped (it won't bring back the past lost data). If it does not help, reach out to the Support

  • I’ve just been encountering this issue and following through these steps resolved it. I couldn’t find this guide on their site and was getting very frustrated. Thank you! The issue actually came through Garmin Connect thinking my old watch was synced, and my current was archived. Removed my all connected devices and connected to (what garmin thought was) my old watch.
