Never seen this Livetrack error

It just started happening recently.  Before that, Livetrack was working perfectly.  I have a good GPS signal and my watch is connected to my phone and doesn't lose connection.  I get the "Livetrack Started" message within seconds of starting my run and the email is sent to my contacts right away, but when you click on the link in the email, this is where it brings you.  My phone still says there is an active Livetrack session and if you go in to the Connect app the session is still active.  It doesn't happen every time but probably about 50%.  I have a brand new 945 which was working perfectly with Livetrack, and my previous 935 was also working perfectly, every time.  I don't know what changed.  Nothing on my end.

  • No luck on 4.18 ... I'm going to keep trying old versions until I find one that works

  • How I can believe it? If even works, the next problem or error is surely coming, maybe!  To be honest I lost my trust to Garmin, too many problems last months!  I read another uses have problem to login, login doesn't work anymore when they change mobile phone.

    I think the member jrc_ maybe has right, read his frustated text!

  • Today it stopped working even more completely, no emails went out, not even with a non-working link :-(

  • Did you do the recent app update yesterday?  I am afraid to update because of all the reports of the app being useless after the update (again).  Going for a run tonight so I'll see if Livetrack is still working for me. 

  • Today in the morning I got a new update for Garmin App, seem LiveTrack works now. I got Mail with correct URL to the LiveTrack. See you next update! 

  • So here's a new little Livetrack twist.  I have my Livetrack set up to send an email to both my husband's email and mine, so that I can also see it when I am done.  I went on a run tonight and when I got home my husband said the Livetrack didn't work.  He got the email but when he clicked on the link he got the screen that I originally posted here about the tracking session was canceled or does not exist.  But when I click on the link that was sent to MY email it brings me to the map page and says that the workout is complete.  So, same run, different emails sent, one works and one doesn't.  How do you explain that weirdness??

  • Can't think of an explanation.. but real curious to know: did you compare the links that were sent? Were they really different URLs (session and token numbers)?

    BTW it's working for me again now (GCM version 4.19 - phone was accidentily set to auto-update, so not sure when it was updated)

  • Yep, had this one as well.

  • different session number, different token number.  Both emails were sent at the exact same time, 5:52 p.m.  This was the only run activity I had yesterday.  How weird.

  • I spoke too soon, my last livetrack "was canceled or does not exist" again.

     Certainly very weird! I was wondering if the same URL resulted in different results, that can happen if there are issues with part of an infrastructure not working, but obviously not in this case.

    Spoke too soon again! Another browser session did eventually get a different response than the "does not exist"; a map with the correct start and end points but no track (I have 'extend live track' on).

    So maybe you can get to the track by repeatedly reloading the page.
