I too am having this problem (forerunner 45s) with livetrack extend not working. Also, the livetrack “watch live” links in the emails always link to “this tracking session was canceled or does not exist”—even if clicked while the session is ongoing.
Any updates on this issue and a fix?

My comment was from well over 6 months ago and had been resolved until the recent comments. We have a case open for this and it was reported around the time add their comment.
As a for future reports and the three within the last 10 days. It is hard to report/diagnose a problem without general information (i.e. Garmin Device being used, version of Garmin Connect App being used, make and model of phone). Thank you for your assistance and continued patience.
I am experiencing the same issue concerning the "Extend LiveTrack" fonctionnality.
During the Activity on my Watch (forerunner 45), the link worked without any problem. But as soon as I stopped the activity, the link was dead.
Any updates on this issue ?
