Android for work apps notifications on watch

I recently installed Android for work apps on my Pixel 2 device. The android for work apps are not being offered in the smart notifications list in the Garmin Connect app. Is there a way to include the work segregated apps in the list so that I can receive notifications on my Forerunner 645?

Okay so apparently I am getting notifications from my work profile Outlook now. Not sure what changed, possibly a software update, but it now works, which makes me happy.

That's not possible for me. The device is secured with Samsung Knox and I have no possibility for a configuration in the private area. If I turn the sound on the device on everything is fine, but I want it on my watch. The company once merged private and company area together and everything worked but they changed it back and the problem came back.

just try to install outlook in the personal area and the notifications will come through... that is how I do it and it works.

This is not a solution. When a company forces the work profile you cannot connect on the personal area. Garmin needs to fix notifications to get them from the work profile if possible.

Even if my company uses boxer? I have no data to connect to the exchange server and maybe I have also no rights. Everything is pre-configurated in the work profile

Watches from other manufacturers of my colleagues work normal, so it is a Garmin issue

4 generations of watches across 5+ years and no solution (or even comment?) from Garmin. Absurd. I have called a couple times over the years -- yearzzzzz -- to see if Garmin is even aware of what Work Profiles are and how Garmin is dropping the ball on the most critical ~90% of my notifications. Each time it's a big "nope" and "nope." Nebulous excuses claiming it's not feasible, but competitor devices do it just fine. Inexcusable for a ~$1000 "smartwatch."

Garmin needs to at least warn customers they have no interested in being involved in the majority of their waking hours. Nothing has turned my attention to Samsung smartwatches more than this single failure.
