In case you do not know how to force-stop an app, have a look for example at the following link: How to Force Close Apps on Your Android Device | Digital Trends (I apologize if it is obvious, no offense was meant by that hint). Uninstalling is an option of course too, if you do not use the app. You can always sync over the USB cable to a computer with Garmin Express.
