Greetings, I have the same problem between a Galaxy M32 and a Garmin Forerunner 45s or a 55 or a 945. From the assistance they tell me that it could be an incompatibility, even if Garmin devices work correctly with a Galaxy M31s, it seems somewhat strange to me.
In the Samsung's forum someone says that it could solve the problem with an update from garmin.
Thank you Dino
Have a look at the following thread, and the last post by Garmin in it. Apparently Samsung fixed the issue at some of their models by issuing an OS patch. Check with them whether this patch is available for your Galaxy M32 too.
Hello, i don't find my galaxy m32 between the phones that will be upgrated.
I find this text:
"Hello all, We're following up on the report we received that after pairing your Garmin watch with your Galaxy A-series phone, you were continually have to pair your device again as it was losing its paring with the Connect app without any action taken on your part to remove it. We're pleased to announce that after Garmin worked with Samsung to identify this issue, fixes were released in the July system software updates for Galaxy A-series phones. Here is how to check for system software updates on a Samsung phone https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00077582/. If you continue to experience connection or other issues after this update, please start a new thread, or, for faster and more detailed assistance, reach out to your local Garmin Product Support team directly at Garmin Product Support. Thank you"
What can i do?
What can i do?
Try asking Samsung whether they plan releasing the same patch as for the Galaxy-A series, also for your model.
The supposed patch did not help the repeated pairing problem with my Samsung A32.
I recommend reporting it both to Samsung and to Garmin Support.
I have reported it to both, with out any joy. The same phone has been connected to a Garmin Edge 530 for 9 months without an issue, and an Amazfit watch for a year as well. The Garmin Forerunner people should talk to the Garmin Edge bicycle computer people about Bluetooth pairing.
I would really like my running watch and bicycle computer to work with Garmin Connect, but it seems impossible.
