Vivosmart hr+ gps issue

Hi all,

My band can no longer lock onto gps signal. I tried syncing with garmin connect and express but it still didn't work. The gps signal will be stuck at 1 bar.

Any suggestions?

I found the fix if any of you still have the issue!!!

You will need to connect your garmin directly to a computer with the charge cable.

Go to windows explorer find the Garmin device and go to Garmin/remotesw…

The epo.bin file appears, but as soon as i remove the Garmin device for the USB it delets the epo.bin file itself.

I updated everything (Device + Garmin Express) and same problem.

I bough this from Japan and used at Thailand, till now waiting Garmin team respone.

Why not response for this issued ? Please !

Mine also stopped working recently, has anyone found a solution yet? No hardware damage either so I don't know why this would've happened.

Excuse my stupid question, but are you trying it outdoors, with enough space around you, so that the watch can acquire multiple satellites easily? Although it may sound silly, unfortunately there are still people trying to get the GPS signal indoors, what simply does not work.

Tried everything. I'm having the same issue tried the Garmin suggestions & nothing works. Annoying as I am just out of the 2yr warranty. It's got to be software issue!

And did you check the epo.bin as suggested above? Did you try updating your watch with Garmin Express?

Maybe you do not have any room remaining on the device. Remove old files from from //GARMIN/Activity/. You can also try performing the master reset of the watch, if you do not mind losing settings and old data.

It depends on the device you use. Many different ways, but it is usually described in the respective user manual for your device. If not, you will google it easily.
